Cracking of the Substitution Cyphers in Classical Cryptography
Kulich, Martin ; Doležel, Michal (referee) ; Stružka, Jaroslav (advisor)
The thesis provides a tool for automatic monoalphabetic substitution ciphers cracking using most common words dictionary. It is based on some previous solutions for english language which were not designed for cracking ciphertext without word divisions. This thesis is focused on cracking ciphertexts without word divisions. It also looks at specifics of czech language - declension and its influence on dictionary size.
Ciphers in mathematics teaching at elementary school.
BOUČKOVÁ, Kateřina
The diploma thesis "Ciphers in mathematics education at primary school" acquaints readers with basic concepts related to encryption, as well as with the history of ciphers from the beginning to the present, their classification, connection to the framework educational program for primary school and didactic game. It also deals with introducing simple ciphers to children and their encryption and decryption. The work is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part presents ciphers and their use, basic concepts, types of ciphers, history of ciphers, cryptographic games and didactic game. The practical part includes worksheets and didactic games that contain simple ciphers. Each worksheet contains instructions for use, solutions and the ciphers themselves. Some of the worksheets were tested by children and therefor there is also an evaluation of how the children performed - with the wrong and also correct solutions.
The Outdoor Escape Game in Biology Teaching for the 6th Grade of Elementary School
Ševčíková, Kateřina ; Říhová, Dagmar (advisor) ; Škodová, Jana (referee)
The topic of the diploma thesis is an outdoor escape game and the possibility of its inclusion in the teaching of Biology in the sixth grade of elementary school. The work is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The aim of the theoretical part is to describe the elements and process of the classic escape game, outdoor escape game and its use in education. The thesis approaches the history of escape games, geocaching and the educational trail, including elements used in outdoor escape games. The thesis provides an overview of basic ciphers that can be used in escape games. The goal of the practical part is to create my own digital outdoor escape game using the Glitr application, which will be tested in practice. The game aims to revise and expand the knowledge gained in Biology lessons and to develop key competences. The practical part describes individual elements of the application, their possible use and the process of creating outdoor escape games. The theme of the game is insects with a connection to the history of the city of Klecany. It also includes a description of the individual locations and tasks used in the game. The outdoor escape game was tested on three classes of the sixth grade of local elementary school. An analysis of the collected data was carried out, namely the...

Web applications and the influence of an encryption on their responses
Podavka, Jan ; Veber, Jaromír (advisor) ; Klíma, Tomáš (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with how the size of the database and response of the system is influenced by an encryption of the data on the websites. This issue is solved by means of testing of encryption methods on the Raspberry Pi. Theoretical part of the thesis describes the encryption algorithms. It also describes how to secure the website and where to use the encryption on the web and what kind of encryption to use. The practical part focuses on the impact of the encryption on the system. As a result, the speed of the algorithms in different situations is evaluated, and also the size of the database with cypher text and plain text is compared.
